26 CharterCARE physicians voted Top Docs by their peers in Rhode Island Monthly

A total of 26 physicians from CharterCARE have been recognized as "Top Docs" in the May 2017 issue of Rhode Island Monthly. The magazine surveys physicians across Rhode Island and asks them to name their choices for the state’s best specialists. These physician practice at our affiliate hospitals Roger Williams Medical Center and Fatima Hospital, along with a variety of community settings.

Dr. Somasundar, a surgical oncologist at the Roger Williams Cancer Center, was recently profiled in a Channel 10 new feature on Rhode Island’s “Top Docs”. He is Director of the Geriatric Oncology program at Roger Williams known as COPE (Comprehensive Oncology Program for Elders) and Associate Chief of Surgical Oncology.
