Diane D’Ambra, RN, MS, WCC, WCN, honored as Clinical Nurse Educator of the Year
Diane D’Ambra, RN, MS, WCC, WCN, was honored on September 27 as Clinical Nurse Educator of the Year at the Excellence in Nursing Awards, sponsored by Rhode Island Monthly and the Rhode Island State Nurses Association. The winners are chosen by a panel of out-of-state nursing professionals. Diane was recognized along with her colleague Theodore “TJ” Sarrazin, RN, a Critical Care nurse from Fatima Hospital who was recognized as Clinical Practice Nurse of the Year.
Diane, Director of Education at Roger Williams Medical Center, was named Clinical Nurse Educator of the Year. She has a long history at the hospital, dating back to 1969 when she started as a student nurse intern and her graduation in 1972 as part of the last class at the Roger Williams School of Nursing.
