Jason Dyl, RN, recognized with Fatima Hospital’s first-ever Daisy Award
Jason Dyl, RN, from the Critical Care Unit, has been named Fatima Hospital’s first-ever Daisy Award winner. He is pictured on the left with a number of his CCU colleagues. The Daisy Award is a national recognition program for nurses, who are nominated by a patient, visitor, or family member.
The DAISY Award is an international program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses every day. Fatima Hospital is happy to be a DAISY Award Partner, recognizing one of our nurses with this special honor quarterly.
Each DAISY Award Honoree will be recognized at a public ceremony in her/his unit and will receive: a beautiful certificate, a DAISY Award pin, and a hand-carved stone sculpture entitled A Healer’s Touch.
Fatima received 12 nominations, which were reviewed by its Nurse Recognition Committee before choosing Jason as the Daisy awardee. Jason was hired onto the CCU several years ago following his graduation from the St Joseph Hospital School of Nursing.
