Roger Williams’ medical residents win “Medical Jeopardy” competition
Three residents from Roger Williams Medical Center were victorious in the American College of Physician’s Rhode Island Chapter’s Medical Jeopardy Competition. The event, also known as “Doctor’s Dilemma”, took place on November 20 and pitted teams of medical residents from five program including Roger Williams, Memorial, Kent, and Rhode Island Hospital, which had two teams.
The competition tests the medical knowledge of each team. The members of the winning Roger Williams’ team (pictured here from left to right) are Mansour Gergi, MD, Nandini Ramaswamy, MD,and Jai Lal, MD.
The Roger Williams’ team will now go on to represent Rhode Island at the 2018 ACP Doctor’s Dilemma Competition, which takes place in New Orleans in April 2018. At the national conference, they will face 49 teams of residents, one from each state.
Congratulations to this team from our Internal Medicine residency programs, which are managed by interim director Dr. Vincent Armenio, Chairman of Medicine at Roger Williams.
