Tissue Bank Core Facility

The Tissue Repository Core (TRC) is designed to facilitate translational cancer research by procuring and storing diseased and normal control tissues, with the associated clinical data, for RWMC investigators and outside clients.

The TRC streamlines and standardizes specimen collections by providing and following standard operating procedures for patient consenting, protection and privacy of patient personal and clinical data, specimen procurement and processing, quality control of specimens, secured specimen storage, retrieval, distribution and provision of relevant de-identified clinical data. The TRC operates under an IRB procotol (RWH 11-400-99).

The TRC offers access to de-identified tissue and clinical data for IRB approved studies for internal and external investigators.
