Satori Iwamoto, M.D., Ph.D., is Chief of Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Roger Williams and Program Director for the training fellowship. He is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology, where is also a Fellow. A graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Medical School, he completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Washington Medical Center.
His clinical specialization is in the areas of Mohs micrographic Surgery and Reconstruction and treatment of skin cancer. He speaks English and Japanese, and is also versed in American sign language. His research interests include applications of DNA-based biotechnology to Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
