Timothy Shafman, MD is Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Roger Williams and serves as an Associate Professor at Boston University School of Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Brown Medical School. A graduate of Harvard Medical School, Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology, Dr. Shafman is board certified in Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Shafman has published more than forty articles on a range of topics including lung cancer, brain tumors, breast cancer and the genetics of radiation sensitivity. He has also co-authored several book chapters in widely read Radiation Oncology textbooks.
