The CharterCARE Orthopedics Program
The CharterCARE Orthopedics Program offers patients leading edge surgical procedures at both Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence and Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence.
Our experienced orthopedic surgeons use advanced diagnostic imaging services including CAT Scan and MARS MRI to assure pinpoint accuracy in diagnosis. When surgery is necessary, our surgeons specialize in fracture repair, arthroscopic surgery, and other surgery of the shoulder, elbow, wrist/hand, hip, knee, and ankle/foot.
And our program was one of the first in Rhode Island to offer same day joint replacement for hips and knees. Utilizing advanced pain management techniques, joint replacement patients are discharged to the comfort of their home in the afternoon.
The CharterCARE Orthopedics Program has introduced this and other new surgical techniques to Rhode Island and has won numerous national quality awards and recognitions for knee and hip replacement, as well as for spine surgery.
