AMBULATORY SURGERY

The Ambulatory Surgery Unit provides surgical services (not requiring hospitalization) to patients aged 13 and older. Our staff is trained to provide physical, emotional, and psychosocial support, while monitoring patients for pain and their capacity to follow discharge instructions safely and effectively. A patient’s length of stay depends on the ability to meet standardized discharge criteria. Patients who require hospitalization following a surgical procedure will naturally have a longer length of stay.
