ROGER WILLIAMS EXPANDS PATIENT ACCESS

November 18, 2021

Roger Williams has reopened the Main Entrance to patients and visitors and discontinued self-screening as well. This is in response to the statewide vaccination numbers against COVID, the availability of the booster, and the vaccine to young children.

Keeping our hospitals safe and properly protected against COVID remains a top priority and all cleaning and infection control protocols remain in place. Mask wearing is required. And staff are vaccinated.

This entrance is open 7a to 3p Monday thru Friday.

The East Entrance/Emergency Entrance remains open 24/7.

We will continue to limit visitors to one per patient, both on the medical/surgical units and in the Emergency Department, and no visitors for COVID patients. Behavioral health visiting policies remain unchanged.

The existing Security badge system will continue for vendors during the day, and after 7p for visitors going through the ED entrance. Vendors still need to go through Reptrax and be sent to the security office for their badge.
