Clinical Trials & Research

Welcome to the Cancer Protocol Office

The Cancer Protocol Office provides patients and health care professionals access to the on-going clinical trials at Roger Williams Cancer Center which are open for patient enrollment. We provide cutting national high-priority cancer trials through our association with the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), Cancer Trials Support Unit (CTSU) of the National Cancer Institute, Brown University Oncology Group (BrUOG) as well as pharmaceutical industry-sponsored trials. Currently, cancer trials for breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, head/neck/thoracic cancers, prostate cancers, and blood cancers are active through the Cancer Protocol Office. Additionally, cancer trials developed by our own cancer researchers, most notably in the field of Cancer Immunotherapy, are also available to patients.

This site provides up to date information on these active trials as well as contact information for the Cancer Protocol Office staff. Detailed information on each active trial is available by clicking on the specific trial name. For your convenience, links to external oncology websites and clinical trials resources are also provided.

Please contact the protocol office staff for any questions or comments.
