Due to high community transmission rates of respiratory viruses, CharterCARE hospitals are now requiring Level 2 surgical masks for patients, visitors, and staff during direct patient care.
Masks are available for all patients, as well as family members and visitors, on arrival to the hospital, including self-serve mask stations at each entrance.
Again, this step is based on rising community respiratory virus rates and an increase in hospital admissions due to respiratory infections. The requirement to mask is intended to keep everyone safe and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation.
