CNA Services

CharterCARE Home Health provides a variety of in-home personal services to help patients regain their independence. We will assign a specially trained Rhode Island certified nursing assistant (CNA) to help with personal care. Working under the direct supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or rehabilitation specialist, CNAs may assist with or perform a variety of supportive and personal care functions including but not limited to the following:

• Bathing and grooming
• Oral hygiene
• Hair care
• Shaving
• *Physician-ordered exercise
• Ambulation
• Encourage compliance with the rehabilitation plan

*All exercise programs are taught and overseen by a registered rehabilitation specialist
