Specialty Programs

In addition to our general rehabilitation services, several areas of unique specialization set us apart from other providers in the region.

Stroke Specialty

The Stroke Specialty Rehabilitation Program services adults in need of therapy services to improve their functionality and quality of life. Our patients have been diagnosed with cerebral vascular accidents, other intracranial hemorrhages, and thrombo/embolic strokes.

Orthopedic

Our rehabilitation program helps patients recover after hip fractures, joint replacements, and multiple trauma. We strive to always improve our therapy, and our orthopedic program’s innovations have been published in major rehabilitation journals.

Support Groups

Because issues associated with serious disabilities can be physical as well as emotional, we sponsor support groups for patients who have had a brain injury, stroke or spinal cord injury. We also host a family education and orientation group.

Making a Referral

Our clinical liaison is available to assist patients in determining if inpatient rehabilitation is appropriate, including through bedside screenings. Patients and family members can also request a referral to Fatima Hospital and The Southern New England Rehabilitation Center.

We accept patients for admission Monday through Friday until 7pm and Saturday and Sunday until 1pm.
